Friday 16 - Sunday 18 March 2018 - Autumn Retreat, Warburton.
These retreats are held at the Casa Pallotti Retreat Centre, Millgrove Victoria. ( near Warburton a 75 minute drive from Melbourne CBD)
All retreats start from 5.30 pm on the Friday evening and finish around 2.30 pm on the Sunday afternoon.
What to expect:
A structured daily program which includes guided meditation instruction for beginners as well as periods of silent meditation practice for those more advanced.
Also included are teacher talks, mindful Q&A sessions, as well as group activities like walking meditations, gentle exercise and yoga classes.
There are regular scheduled meal times and plenty of free time to relax, hang out, read or just rest.
Importantly.... nothing is compulsory to attend or do!!
What to bring:
You will need to bring warm clothing, towel & toiletries, sunscreen & hat, insect repellent, torch, walking/running shoes, and a yoga mat or cushion if you want to lie down to meditate.
(chairs are provided).
Accommodation is provided in either a private room (for a single person) or a shared double room (for couples or 2 friends) or a shared dorm-style room (max 4 people per dorm). We offer single rooms for those wanting private accommodation on a first in basis. Dorms are either all male or all female.
There are shared toilet and shower facilities and the venue is smoke, alcohol and drug free.
Camping is possible for the March Autumn Retreat 2018. (BYO tent or camper)
There are three meals provided on the full days and two meals on the half days. All are vegetarian and provided by professional caterers. There are morning and afternoon tea breaks which include teas, coffee and snacks. We cater for most special dietary needs.
Facilitated by Always Meditation founding teacher Peter Elliott and Matt Young from MMC. These are non religious retreats, not strictly silent but including scheduled silent times and quiet spaces for inner reflection and peacefulness. People are encouraged to respect the silence and space around others.
All GST, meals, accommodation and teacher fees are included in the listed price above. There are no additional teacher payments (dana) or any additional costs.
How to book.
Step 1. Complete and Send the registration form below.
Step 2. Make your deposit payment. A $100 deposit is required upon registration to hold your booking. Full payment is required at least 2 weeks before the retreat commences.
